Purpose
1. Used in the manufacture of pentaerythritol tetranitrate dynamite and alkyd resin, as well as thermal stabilizer and plasticizer. It is used in the production of alkyd resin, synthetic advanced lubricant, plasticizer, surfactant, medicine and explosives.
2. Important polyols. It is widely used in the production of alkyd resin, flame retardant coating, polyurethane and dry oil. Is also the synthesis of plasticizer, flame retardant, surface active agent, emulsifying agent, pesticides, antioxidants, senior lubricating oil, pentaerythritol ester, pentaerythritol polyether and polyester, PENT explosives and the main raw material of chlorinated polyether and so on.
3. Used as the raw material for the production of rosin esters of varnish, paint and ink, and can be used as flame retardant, dry oil and aviation lubricants.

2.Properties: white powder crystallization, flammable, easy to be esterified by general organic acids, with dilute caustic soda solution without reaction.
3.Solubility: soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, insoluble in benzene, tetrachloride, ether, petroleum ether, etc.
Manufacturing technique
In the presence of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde, the reaction of alkali condensation agent is obtained.
Transport storage
